Tennis Elbow/Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

This is another repetitive motion injury. Any activity which requires frequent use of the forearm may ultimately end up with either of these conditions. The frequent contractions and relaxations often times produces a trigger point in the belly of the forearm which shortens the muscles and produces these symptoms. Treatment consists of:

  • Reduce activity during the acute phase.
  • Icing the area of involvement, especially after exercise.
  • Use of The Stick over the forearm muscle approximately 1" below the elbow multiple times per day to tolerance.
  • Ultra-Sound if available.
  • A support if necessary.
