Low Back Pain

Low back pain is typically a result of long term stress in joints and muscles that have not fully recovered from activity. This stress can be due to repetitive use of a biomechanical fault that places more stress on an area than the area is capable of handling. Or, it can be a combination of the two. The Maggs Muscle Management Program will help dramatically to get muscles recovered quicker, and The Structural Fingerprint Program will help locate the biomechanical defects that exist in the back, pelvis and extremities. Recommendations consist or:

  • Reduce activity during the acute phase.
  • Ice areas of pain 20 minutes at a time, multiple times per day.
  • Use The Stick over entire muscle multiple times per day.
  • Determine cause of pain
  • Treat symptoms initially
  • After pain is gone, correct and rehabilitate biomechanical defects
  • Once improved, perform necessary maintenance exercises and recommendations to maintain improvements.
